Microsoft 365 price rise

Lock in your current M365 price until February 2023

Time remaining

Last year Microsoft announced a price rise of between 9% and 25% on six of the most popular Microsoft 365 solutions.

With the price rise taking effect from 1st March 2022, there is one important thing you can do to keep licensing costs to a minimum…

Beat the price rise, lock in pricing now

What can you do?

If you do nothing, your licensing costs across the impacted Microsoft SKUs will increase from March 2022.

This means that when your current licenses are renewed, you will pay more.  For organisations with monthly subscription terms, the price rise will be applied when you renew next month, in March. For organisations with annual subscription terms, the price rise will be applied at your renewal date.

However, you can renew early* to lock in current pricing until February 2023.

Here’s how:

  • If you have monthly subscription terms, purchase annual subscriptions before the end of February to lock in current prices
  • If you have an annual subscription with a renewal date later this year, we can renew your licence now and cancel your old subscription
  • If you have fluctuations in your workforce throughout the year, we can help you identify the best hybrid licensing model (monthly and annual) to lock in current pricing and keep costs to a minimum
Whatever you do, you need to act now to optimise your licensing costs.

*we recommend renewing sooner rather than later to ensure new licenses are secured at the current price

New Commercial Experience

Microsoft also announced* changes to way organisations purchase licenses for Microsoft services. The New Commerce Experience (NCE) ‘Per Seat’.

With NCE Per Seat, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform SKUs will be available with terms of 1 month, 1 year, and 3 years.

When renewing, we can help you subscribe to the correct mix of monthly, annual, and 3 year licences (for Microsoft Dynamics) to give you the most flexibility, while keeping licence costs to a minimum.
