Above and Beyond – How we reward our Service Desk team who are excelling Cloud Business to new heights

“We’re always saying thank you to our team members for their excellent work, but it’s so important to go further and reward them especially when they’ve gone above and beyond.”

In June 2021 we launched the Service Desk Star of the Month, a nomination based award to recognise the incredible achievements within the team.

We had a chat with Kerry our Service Desk Manager:

“Discussing our Star of the Month nominations is the meeting I look forward to most, being able to speak about all the amazing things our team members have done in the previous month is so uplifting. We incorporate our values into the nominations, it’s very rewarding to see team members showing us how they use those values to provide the best support to our customers.”

How do we recognise our team?

The team, managers and even customers can nominate Service Desk Team Members for Star of the Month; telling stories of achievements and proud moments with one another to inform our final choices. The management team then come together to discuss the nominations; before announcing the winner on our Yammer feed and SharePoint news.

Coming together to recognise our teams achievements is so important to us and this is just one of the ways we like to thank our teams.
