COVID-19 statement

Last updated 05 January 2021

As of January 2021, our 3 locations Guildford in Surrey, Basingstoke in Hampshire and Leatherhead in Surrey remain partially open for essential attendance.

During the pandemic, our employees have maintained the highest levels of service to our customers whilst continuing to work safely from home.

Our approach to COVID-19

The senior management team of Cloud Business takes the COVID-19 threat seriously and regularly meets and communicates to our staff and customers as the situation develops and changes. We also adhere to the latest Government advice.

We are taking all reasonable measures to continue to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 to our team members, our customers, and our business.

Our risk mitigation strategy that incorporates BCPs for all our critical activities, continue to work and is constantly monitored. We have performed risk assessments, and as such have implemented further measures so our staff can, if possible and aligned to the Government guidelines, return to the office in significantly reduced numbers after the current National Lockdown.

Our employees

Cloud Business is a people business, and our employees are central to all of the services we supply.

As employers we have a vital role to play by taking the necessary action to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are committed to providing a safe environment for our employees and their families.

This extends to our staff being able to provide the same level of service, working from home.

Our employees have received COVID-19 training and regular refreshers, and are committed to maintaining strict social distancing and hygiene standards by following the advice from the World Health Organisation and Public Health England.

Our Human Resources team has detailed processes in place to limit the transmission of infection including social distancing and extended hygiene protocols. Additionally, we are supporting our employees with amended sickness and time off policies for those who need to self-isolate, fall ill, or need to make other work-life adjustments for childcare and elder care etc.

Our office

We have taken additional precautions to protect our workforce and visitors. Newly introduced measures include increased cleaning and disinfection, high visibility signage to maintain safe social distancing, limited access for visitors and the availability of personal protective equipment.

We also close part (a floor) or all of our office to perform deep cleaning on a weekly basis or in the event an employee or visitor is considered a risk, shows symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19.

Meetings

Our approach to meetings remains that they should be held via Teams or limited to “essential meetings” only. This is to limit unnecessary travel.

Our services

We have invested heavily in technology, including cloud-based IT, this allows our employees to operate effectively and safely anywhere in the world and to be able to serve our global customer base to the same high standard. We constantly monitor this and do not anticipate that there will be any restrictions on our ability to deliver our services to the highest standards.

Thank you for your continued support of Cloud Business and the services we provide. We wish good health and safety to all our customers and partners and their employees and families.
