Last week Cloud Business attended the Surrey Business Awards 2021 and walked away with the big one: Company of the Year!
Businesses cannot enter this award, instead finalists are chosen by the judges including the award sponsor NatWest. In fact, it wasn’t until we saw that the award programme that we knew for certain that we had been selected as a finalist.
We were up against some very stiff competition for this prestigious award, including Broadplace, Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, Ramsac and Silent Pool Distillers. So, we are honoured to have been chosen as the Surrey Business Awards’ Company of the Year.
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners at this years awards. It was a great evening and it was wonderful to celebrate local business success stories.
Not the usual blah!
The judges looked at our commercial success, the challenges faced over the last 18 months, our objectives for the next three years, and what makes us different from our competitors.
Here’s a snippet from our awards submission:
Not the usual blah! We use this strapline to ensure all conversations with customers are engaging and meaningful. It is a key differentiator in terms of our service and delivery model. Where competitors lead with technology, we talk about the experience. How will users feel about a new technology change? How can we make it a great experience so they rave about it!
We want to win over the hearts and minds of our customers’ user community, so they get the best possible experience from their technology. Happy users equate to happy customers so we invest time understanding modern workplace trends to successfully guide our customers through their digital transformation journey.
At every touchpoint we question whether we’re delivering the best possible experience and how we can do things better. To us this is what a B2B business is all about, helping customers achieve their best.
Our growth over the last three years, and during a challenging 2020/21 financial year, is testament to this approach. As is the success of our customers who have benefited from this experience.
By living and breathing this mantra our people really do help our customers become the businesses they want to be.
